PHALEN, GEORGE
Passed peacefully with this family by his side, at the age of 69, on April 28, 2014. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Bonnie (nee Beveridge). George will be sadly missed by his sisters Glenda Kennedy (Rendell 1942-2009), Marie Pellerin (Donnie) and sisters-in-law Barb Norman (Rick), Wendy Beveridge (Fergus), and Robin Mathon (Maurice) as well as many nieces, nephews and their families. George was known for his unique philosophy on life and sense of humour, he loved to laugh, fish and get together with family.
George was an “early adopter ” and found great satisfaction from his love of technology. With cremation completed, the family will hold a private celebration of George’s life. Our sincere thanks to the staff of St. Joe’s ICU for their care and dedication.

I’m so sorry to hear about George’s passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. He will be missed. We had some good times with Bonnie and George when they lived in the townhouse. Now they are together again.
Thank you Eileen, . Bonny and George were together since they were kids, now they are together again.
my deepest sympathies to family of George, he was a dear friend for many years to my dad and a golfing buddy as well as a neighbor for many years, rest in peace, Tracey and Guy Shaver
Thank you Tracey, I knew your dad and I know how much George treasured their friendship .
I was so shocked to hear about George’s passing, we just recently reconnected through Facebook. The one memory I have is when my dad Dave and George found this kite that had landed in the driveway of our townhouse. They ran up and down that driveway with that kite so many times till my dad tripped and ended up having to have his ring cut off at the hospital. The nurse stitched him up and said ” ok boys go back to playing but be more careful” That was the kind of guy George was full of fun and you never knew what he would come up with next. My sympathies and prayers are with your family now and always. Saying good-bye is never easy, but knowing he and dad are again flying that kite in Gods garden helps bring some peace.
Hi Dawn, Thank you for sharing a happy memory of fun times. These memories will make me smile when I think of my brother.
