Tranquility is privately owned by the Silverthorne family, and is not affiliated with any larger funeral home companies which is what allows us to dedicate our attention and care to every family that we serve.

Our services to you extend beyond the cremation or burial as well; once we have served your family, we are always here for any questions, support or additional services that you may require, please just ask.

      During a time of loss and grieving,  Tranquility is there for the family. They take that worry of planning a funeral off your shoulder by working alongside you and offering you support when your mind is overwhelmed. My overall experience with Tranquility was smooth and uncomplicated. Todd was my go to person during the planning process.       The director and staff were so friendly and kind while my family and I dealt with the loss of my mother. They helped with paperwork and filled any requests that we had made.       Todd and his colleagues went out of their way to get us the remains of our dear friend when we were in Toronto and couldn't get to their location. Their kindness and flexibility was above and beyond and we can't thank you enough!!

      Todd was so helpful and caring during the process of laying our mother to rest. He had no problems answering so many questions we had. And the day of mom's interment he was there before anyone showed up lending any type of hand he could, before during and after. Thank you so much Todd.

      Todd at Tranquility handled my dad’s cremation. It was very last minute, and I don’t even live in Ontario. I googled cremation services and chose a company with high ratings, Tranquility really stood out. From first contact to checking in with me after I received my dad’s ashes, Todd was amazing.
