Daniels, Michael
Michael Daniels
June 28, 1962 – January 31, 2022
With a broken heart and great sadness we announce the passing of Mike Daniels who left us too early. Always strong and brave, with Brenda by his side, Mike passed away peacefully in the hospital after a short, courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
Mike will be missed by his wife, Brenda of 37 years, sons Derek (Melissa) and Lance (Brittany), the Barton family, all his family down East, his friends and colleagues.
Mike was born in Campbellton, New Brunswick. He moved to Mississauga, Ontario, where he met, married and lived with his wife, Brenda.
He started work in 1987 in the trucking industry with Intercity Papers/Unisource/Veritiv, at TNT Express, then to ADLI Logistics. Mike enjoyed his work immensely. His passion was time spent with his family at their summer home on West Lake. Mike lived life to the fullest. He made memories with his family and his friends, cheered on the Red Wings and collected all things Red Wings. He was the backbone of his family, after Brenda.
He embraced time with family, especially memories made around the campfire and avoiding games at Bartonstock.
In lieu of flowers, feel free to make a donation to a charity closest to your heart. Upon Mike’s request, take a shot of Jack Daniels and cheer on the Red Wings.
Brenda and family, wishing you peace and fond memories to heal your heart in the loss of Mike.
Godspeed my friend ????

Brenda, Lance, Derek I am so sorry to hear about Mike. Mike and I had a lot of good times back in the day at work and at play, Mike was always smiling. Love Ray and Family.
I always pictured the day I’d write a goodbye note to Mike because he was retiring, not because he died.
To his family: I am so sorry about your loss.
Mike and I worked together for almost 5 years at ADLI Logistics. It wasn’t really work, it was camaraderie and teamwork, something to look forward to each day.
I will never forget Mike the dispatcher, my colleague and friend.
