RONALD ORANGE
August 14, 1929
After a long and full life of 95 years and sharing 73 years of marriage with the love of his life, Marjorie Orange, it is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of RONALD GILBERT ORANGE on November 11, 2024 at Brantford General Hospital, surrounded by his family. Ronald is survived by his eldest son Ron (Cathy), daughter Karen Weir and son, Andrew (Vicki).Ronald shared many fond and loving memories with his grandchildren Stuart (Natalie), Stephen (Amy), Kendra (Shayne) and Bryan (Amanda) as well as Shalyn, Daniel, Angelyn (Angel) and Robert. He loved listening to stories from his great grandchildren, even attending sporting games when able. For Ella, Declan, Dallas, Veritie, and Vercin, these special moments were blessings, as many children do not get these opportunities at Ronald’s age.
Predeceased by his sons-in-law Ken Weir and Wayne Sutherland.
After 35 years at Ford of Canada in Oakville, Ron has enjoyed woodworking, puzzles and travel but most importantly, time spent with family.
We would like to especially thank the many compassionate doctors, nurses and staff at Brantford General Hospital who provided exceptional care along with his physician, Dr. Kaldas who made him feel special in her care.
Cremation has taken place with a drop-in Celebration of Life being held on Tuesday, November 26th from 2pm – 4pm at the Sociable Kitchen, 45 King George Rd., Brantford, ON N3R 5K2.
If so desired, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Ronald’s name to Brantford General Hospital or The Cancer Society.
