Walker, Adrian
It is with sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Adrian Peter Walker at the age of 53. He left us on November 14th, 2024 at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, with his family by his side.
Adrian’s journey through life left a unique mark on everyone who knew him. He was a son, a father, a friend, and a man of passion who lived life entirely on his own terms.
He is survived by his mother, Joan Walker, his three children Sydney, Leah and Ashton. Sisters Nicola (Alan) and Bridget (Andrew) and their families. He is predeceased by his father, Peter (2018) and nephew Ryan (2019).
Adrian was a collector at heart, finding joy in the pursuit of treasures that spoke to his passions. He was someone who, when he formed connections, navigated them with the intensity of his personality. With those relationships, he gave generously – offering a helping hand, bringing laughter, and pouring his energy into them. The good times with friends and his children were marked by fun and camaraderie. He lived boldly for better or for worse, and his individuality defined much of his journey.
As we reflect on his life, we remember both the complexities and the joys, the struggles and the good times. May he find peace now, and may his memory inspire understanding, growth, and reflection in all who knew him.
Adrian’s family will honour his life privately, For those who have been touched by his friendship, is asked to celebrate his life in their own way and by raising a glass in his memory.
For those wishing, donations to Diabetes Canada or Heart and Stroke Foundation are appreciated.
My deepest condolences to Sydney, Leah and Ashton and the Walker family. I am so incredibly sorry for your loss. I am thinking of you all during this difficult time.
To Adrian’s Family
My deepest condolences. Was so sorry to hear of Adrian’s passing and at such a young age. He visited my in home in West Paradise, Annapolis Co., NS. His son was with him. We had a lovely time and I know they both visited Salvation Army a number of times to find treasures..and they did. It was great fun to see what they brought home. Thinking of you all at this most difficult time.
Adrian was a good friend. I will miss his positivity. Deepest sympathy to Christina and children.
