COCHRANE, Linda Sheryl

On December 17, 2025, at her home in Simcoe, Linda Sheryl Cochrane (nee Martin),
our beloved wife, mother, grammy, sister and auntie went home to join her mom,
siblings and daughter-in-law in skyworld.

Linda was the daughter of Gladys Clara Martin and Thomas W Martin, and joins them
along with her siblings Thomas V. Martin, Brenda G. Davis, Whalen Martin, Alva Martin
and Norris Martin.

Born on Feb 2, 1953, Linda was our favourite groundhog and a bright light to all who
had the privilege of knowing her. She loved to travel, often taking mystery trips at the
last minute with her daughter Sabrina. Linda loved to create things through knitting,
painting, beading, sewing and leatherworking. She loved nothing more than being
surrounded by family and attending sports events to watch her kids and grandbabies.
Linda was also the much-loved other mother to many in her long career providing home
childcare.

Linda is survived and missed by husband David, daughter Tiffany and Stephen,
daughter Andrea and Brandon, son Davis and Denise (deceased), daughter Sabrina –
her steadfast caregiver, and Bunsen Berner, her beloved canine companion. Forever
cherished by her grandchildren, Thomas, Hunter, Isaac, Kaydence, Asher, and
Annabelle. Her memory lives on with her sisters Glenda Porter and Penny Herman and
numerous nieces and nephews and special friends. Linda will be dearly missed by all
who loved her.

At her wish, Linda has been cremated. A memorial gathering with the family will take
place from 12 to 2 pm on Wednesday December 31, 2025, at Grand River United
Church, Six Nations of the Grand River. Expressions of sympathy can be sent to 53
