In Loving Memory of Patricia Joan Lane Thompson.
October 4th 1940 – December 22nd 2025
With broken hearts, our family announces the passing of our beloved matriarch Patricia Joan Lane Thompson. Born to Victor and Mildred Lane in Toronto on Oct 4th 1940, she grew up with her beloved siblings Nancy, John, Carol and Eddie. Patty, as she was fondly known, lived a full colourful and adventurous life. She worked in many fields from cutting cedar brush to doing your taxes and bookkeeping for you, and she excelled at them all. Her deep faith in God guided her and her decision making through life.
She leaves behind a legacy of love and family. Survived by her children David and Darlene. Her longtime companion Clermont. Predeceased by her children Vicki, Timmy Raymond & Cindy. She was a Nanny, a Great Great nanny of 19. Countless family members, friends and all the many who thought of her as a second mom. Her door (as well as her Kitchen) was always open to anyone.
Patricia was adored and will be forever missed and remembered. May she rest peacefully in her heavenly Father’s loving arms.
Friends and family may join Patricia’s family on Saturday December 27 from 1 to 3PM at St. John’s Dixie Cemetery & Crematorium – Located at 737 Dundas Street East Mississauga, ON L4Y 2B5
