It is with great sadness we announce the passing of William Frederick Holt, born March 13, 1945, in Brantford, Ontario, passed away on December 27, 2025. William was a kind, gentle and devoted family man, whose quiet strength and generous spirit touched everyone who knew him. He found great joy in attending car shows, being involved in Scouts, and spending countless hours fixing and restoring old cars – always happy to lend a hand or share his knowledge with others. William will be remembered for his patience, warm smile and unwavering love for his family.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Marlene, and his children Will, Jennifer and Alden. Visitation will be held on January 24, 2026 at the Bellview Community Centre at 55 Tom Street, Brantford at 3:00 pm. William’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved him and were fortunate enough to share in his life.
We were shocked to learn of Bill’s passing. My husband Doug Thompson was Bill’s cousin. Bill was party of our wedding party.
