MATLE, Walter Karl Heinz 1932-2018
It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the Matle family announce the peaceful passing of Walter Matle, at Woodhall Park LTC Community on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at the age of 86. He is survived by his wife, of 57 years, Lois (nee Greenaway). Loving father of Sharon, Ryan (Patsy). Cherished Opa to Liam. Walter will be missed by his nieces Susan (Jim), Lorna, cousin Lotti in Germany and long-time friends Manfred and Traudl from California. The family would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all the wonderful staff, involved in Walter’s care, at Woodhall Park LTC Community in Brampton.
Walter’s memorial will take place on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 10 Bunchgrass Place, Brampton ON, between 2-5pm. Please come by and celebrate Walter’s life with his family and friends.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made, in Walter’s memory, to the Alzheimer Society of Peel
So sorry for your loss. We have some great memories of Uncle Walter when you all came up north and when we visited in the city.
