2025 – Loving Tribute to Agnes Maria Rocha 1947 TO 2025 (aged 77 years)

Dearest Uncle Joe (Joseph Paul) & dearest blood related treasured first cousins Clare & Neil AND dearest nephew Daniel in Canada.

I/We am so deeply saddened/gutted to hear about the passing of beloved Aunty Agnes.

Kindly accept from London England (UK) our dearest condolences (Jude & wife Jana) at this very sad time about the passing of my beautiful “blood relative” Aunt Agnes the ‘youngest’ sister of my late mother Sophie Lobo (was Noronha).

Aunty Agnes was a “very special treasure” in my life for 50 plus years and I spent many fun times talking to her by telephone (her great jovial personality) or when we visited Canada (1983/1993/1999/2001/2007/2019) or when she came to the UK (between 1989-2012).

To this day I treasure & am so appreciative for all her “Birthday Cards” she faithfully sent to me for 50+ years (all in safe storage).

Both myself & my late Mum Sophie always “LOVED her deeply” and now wife Jana added. My special fondness was based on her caring / fun-loving attitude / jolly personality / kindness / warm smile & unique style.

I always remember those beautiful envelopes where she worked North American Life Insurance Company (NALCO) and her status as the Top Administrative Executive to the Vice President. A truly admirable quality for her great Intelligence & Skills & Wisdom.

Her excellent driving skills/route map skills are also fondly remembered (e.g. 1983 Trans Am sports car).

I will especially remember her trip to UK in 2012 (London Olympics year) & the places / friends we visited & family memory talks & going to various GOA (UK) dances and in driving both Uncle Joe & Aunty Agnes all over London.

Aunt Agnes had an amazing love & dedication for God/Jesus/Mary/Prayers and her love/dedication for our Roman Catholic faith was unswerving.

May she enjoy HEAVEN with her parents (Jeremias Franscisco Noronha 1902 -1968 & Justina Inacia Severina Noronha 1980-1992) & her predeceased siblings Sophie / Xavier & Leocadia (Survived by Blanche).

Aunt Agnes you are gone but Not Forgotten – My Daily Rosary & Masses will now include you.

I/we will always remember all the fun/good times and your personality/laughter. I love & treasure you always – Till we meet in heaven.

May God grant Courage & Strength to Uncle Joe & Clare & Neil & Daniel. I am here for you always.

Take Care & God Bless. We LOVE YOU all forever ++AMEN++

Having problems posting a tribute. Oh sad news indeed. Let us remember Agnes for being the very first one to try and bring us all together by starting a website for us and for always coordinating the class of 63s events, from get togethers to holidays. A much admired and very popular classmate. Rest in peace Agnes, may the angels greet you and accompany you on your journey. If possible, please convey my condolences to Joe, her sons and daughterand all her family.
