Rayner, Chris

Chris Rayner of Ayr, Ontario passed away peacefully at the Cambridge Memorial
Hospital on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at the age of 57.

Beloved husband and soulmate of Sheri Perreault Rayner. Loving and dedicated father
of Dali Faruzel-Rayner, and treasured Grumpa of her children Lennon and Miller. Dear
son of parents Mary (Jim) Williams and Carl (Mary Lynn) Rayner. Best friend and
brother of Chad (Sandra) Rayner, and step brother of Nathan (Lisa) Rocheleau and
Matthew (Tanya) Rocheleau. Much loved uncle of Em Rayner and Alanna Rayner, and
step-uncle to his many nieces & nephews, and their children. Chris will be lovingly
remembered by his extended family and his many friends as a generous, hard-working,
and fun-loving man who was often found enjoying a new car, bike, or toy.

Chris’ family would like to thank Cambridge Memorial Hospital for all the care they have
provided, including a heartfelt special thanks to Nurse Caitlin and Nurse Tara for your
extra love and support, and for being a listening ear and witness. You made Chris’ stay
so much better, and we appreciate you.

A private celebration of Chris’ life will be held at a later date, allowing the family time to
grieve. In Chris’ memory, donations to the Humane Society or the Cambridge Memorial
Hospital are appreciated.

    Chris will be forever missed. Our staff thoroughly enjoyed his visits with his pets and his humorous conversations. He was a passionate, caring and ever-thoughtful man. He had left us much too early.
