Jeffery Douglas Guy, born June 27, 1946, passed away peacefully at Heritage House in
St. Jacobs, Ontario on February 6, 2025.
Jeffrey was born and raised in Kitchener, Ontario after his parents and five older siblings
moved to Kitchener from Kinnear&Mills, Quebec. Jeffery attended KCI as well as
Eastwood Secondary School. He also attended Conestoga College where he studied
film, and the University of Waterloo where he studied math.
During his public, high school and post-secondary education, he enjoyed playing
football as well as participating in track and field. In fact, he won awards for track and
field, even setting a record while attending the U of W.
Following his education, Jeffery traveled out west and to the United States where he
worked in the computer field and was also an entrepreneur. He eventually retired in
Kitchener.
Jeffery enjoyed meditation and studied Buddhism. He struggled with illness for many
years but recently found peace while living at Freeport Hospital and then at Heritage
House. A special thank you to the staff of Heritage House who provided great care to
Jeffrey throughout his stay. He liked it there, feeling well cared for and supported.

I will miss you Uncle Jeff. It was nice getting to know you a bit better over the last couple of years. May you rest in peace as you rejoin your family. Say hi to everyone for me. Shelley
