GRESPAN, “Bert” Roberto Erminio

It’s with our very heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Roberto “Bert” Erminio Grespan. Bert passed away peacefully in his home on Monday, November 11th, 2024 at the age of 62.

Loving husband of 38 years to Rhonda. Dear father of Cory (Carolina), Nicole (Tristian) and predeceased by his Daughter Calea, (Kyle). Very proud Nonno of Theo. Dearest son of Erimino, predeceased by his Mother Pierina. Bert will be fondly remembered by his sister Michelle, brothers Renzo and Sergio, father in law Charlie, mother in law Rosemary, his in-laws, Rick, Ronnie, Robert, Rodney, Rachelle and their families as well as many close friends. Predeceased by his Father in law Ronald, mother in law Patricia and sister in law Kathy.

Bert had so much love for life and was a devoted father who loved spending time with his family, he was very selfless, giving, caring, compassionate and dependable. Bert will be remembered for his love of travel, road trips, concerts, annual fishing trips, family vacations and singing along to his favourite songs. He took pride in being the best husband and father to his family and was so excited to become a nonno. He touched many lives and will be missed dearly by everyone that knew him.

Visitation will be held at the Magnolia Chapel of St. John’s Dixie Cemetery (737 Dundas Street East at Cawthra, Mississauga) on Monday, November 18th from 10am until 12pm.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday November 18th at 12pm at the same location followed by burial on-site at St. John’s Dixie Cemetery.

A reception to follow at the visitation centre.

Parking for guests is available in the large lot adjacent to the church. Please proceed through the cemetrey gates to the large building ahead, west-facing doors.

    Completely shocked to learn about the sudden loss of Bert. He was not only my first boss at Kinectrics but also a kind and super friendly mentor. His kindness, guidance, and unwavering support will always be remembered. My condolences to the Grespan family.

    Sorry for this sudden loss,

    I have a lot of memories of talking with Bert about work and family. He always had stories to share about his family and their trips together as well as spending time caring for his parents made it very apparent that family was #1 for him.

    I reported to Bert for many years in the calibration lab. Bert was always pleasant, friendly and supportive. Kinectrics has lost a dedicated team player. My sincere condolences to the family for their early loss of a great man.

    I am very sorry for your loss. My thoughts are with your family during this difficult time. I was fortunate to work with Bert for many years. He provided me the opportunities to learn and grow my career which I will always be grateful for. Bert talked fondly of his family and I could sense he was a great family man because he fostered the team/family culture amongst his employees. Bert was personable and always had a great story to share! He will truly be missed.

    I am truly sorry for the loss of Bert to his dear family and friends. Bert always spoke so kindly and highly of his family which was the core of what made him happy. I worked with Bert for over 15 years and he was my first real manager and mentored me over the years.
