Eleanor Johnson nee Austin
March 4, 1931 – November 2, 2023
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our Mother, Eleanor (Ellie) Johnson in her 92nd year, at Villa Forum LTC Mississauga after a long, hard battle with dementia.
Beloved wife of the late Dennis Johnson (2012). Loving mother of John (Kathy) and Maureen (Harold).
Loving Grandmother of Tina (Glen), Dawn (Brad), Lorna (Lloyd) and Andrew (Mandy); ten great- grandchildren and twelve great-great grandchildren.
Ellie is predeceased by her siblings Marie, Doug and Doris and survived by her brother Herb.
A service, luncheon and a time to share memories will be held on Saturday, November 11th at St. John’s Dixie Cemetery, 737 Dundas St East at Cawthra Rd. Mississauga, in the Willow Room from 12:30pm, until the time of the service at 2:30pm. Following the service, Ellie’s urn will be buried, along with her late husband Dennis, in the cemetery grounds.

My fondest memories of Ellie were the warm greetings when I passed by her switchboard everyday at the Board Office. She always had a smile on her face and warm Hello!!
