Di Lalla, Nicola

Nicola Di Lalla

Hello                                       Ok, Goodnight

December 12, 1953              January 4, 2021

Nicola (Nick) Di Lalla, age 67, passed away suddenly on Monday January 4th, 2021. Beloved son of the late Giuseppe and Carmela Di Lalla. Cherished husband of Louise Tosques, and loving father of Nicholas (Tynisha) and Cassandra (Jeffrey). Brother of Tony (Gabriella) and Roberto (Marie-Christine). Deeply missed by family, friends, and pets (Minou and Zoey).

His amazing sense of humour, selflessness, generosity, kindness and loving nature leaves an imprint on everyone’s heart. His green thumb and great passion for gardening brought him pleasure, pride, and joy as he sowed seeds for his hot peppers, tomatoes, basil and herbs… Not only did he live for his family but also loved a good bowl of pasta, meatballs, sausage, osso buco, and pizza along with his favourite desserts like pumpkin pie and pecan pie, cheesecake, Oh Henry chocolates and peanut butter treats. We thank him for all the unforgettable and irreplaceable memories that were shared.

Goodbyes are not forever, goodbyes are not the end, they simply mean we will miss you until we meet again. Our love guides him and follows him to the stairway to heaven. May he rest in peaceful paradise as his legacy lives on.

Nick will be missed by Cassandra’s best friend May for our unforgettable laughter-filled moments that transcended cultures. Whenever May was on the phone with Cassandra, Nick would always make it into a funny moment. May is a weird one but Nick never judged and was super kind. May considered Nick as part of her own family. May Nick rest in peaceful paradise <3
