“Welcome welcome every guest, welcome to our music quest.”
I will miss John Harrison very much. He was not only a family friend but conductor for my first community choir, Etobicoke Youth Choir (formerly Islington Community Youth Choir) from 1977-1983. He loved music and was always pushing his choir members to perform to their fullest talents. It was also a lot of fun to participate in the recording sessions for 3 of the CANADA IS…MUSIC series.
Thank you, John, for your loving friendship and sharing your musical talents with many youth and adults over the years.
You will be greatly missed!
Thanks John, for everything you did for us.
I fondly remember my time in the ICYC and EYC, and you taught us a great deal.
Rest in peace, friend.
Dave
