In Loving Memory of Brent Philip Dickerson “Dick”
Brent Philip Dickerson (“Dick”)

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Brent Philip Dickerson (“Dick”), who left us peacefully in his 55th year on October 31, 2025, in Brantford, Ontario.
Brent faced many health challenges throughout his life, including lupus and throat cancer, but he battled them with the same courage, humour, and determination that defined him. As he did in all things, Brent did it his way — with strength, music, and laughter.
A lifelong sports fan, Brent proudly cheered for his Toronto Maple Leafs, Philadelphia Eagles, and Toronto Blue Jays, often reminding those around him that loyalty runs deep no matter the score.
Brent will be forever loved and remembered by his mother, Anne Marie Dickerson, and is predeceased by his father, Bernie Philip Dickerson. He will be deeply missed by his sister, April McCulloch (Shayne), and brother, Brad Dickerson (Elizabeth).
He was a beloved uncle to Benjamin McCulloch (Julia), Hilary McCulloch (Andrew), Tyler Dickerson (Ange), Holly Dickerson, Kayla Kountouris (Phil), and Hanna Barrow, and a proud great-uncle to Addelyn McCulloch, Ruby Dickerson, and Ares Kountouris.
Brent’s family and friends will remember him for his passion for music, his quick wit, and his unwavering love for those close to him.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to the Stedman Community Hospice for their compassion, care, and kindness — they were with Brent and our family until the very end. A special thank you to Rose, who was truly his angel, as well as Dr. McNamara, Dr. Singh, the VON, and Ontario Health at Home staff for their exceptional care and support.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., at the home of his sister and brother-in-law, April and Shayne, 125 Scott Avenue, Paris, Ontario. Family and friends are invited to join us in remembering and celebrating Brent’s life, laughter, and love.
Though he is gone too soon, Brent’s spirit, humour, and music will echo in the hearts of all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Brent’s memory may be made to the Stedman Community Hospice, McMaster Children’s Hospital, the Brantford SPCA, or a charity of your choice.
