TOMCZYK, Krzysztof Marian
Krzysztof Marian Tomczyk
September 8, 1957 – October 31, 2024
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Krzysztof “Kris” Tomczyk who died unexpectedly on October 31, 2024 at the age of 67.
Kris is survived by his wife, Halina (nee Milczarek); sons, Bart and David; brother, Sławek, and grandchildren, Daniel, Olivia and Thomas. He is preceded in death by his father, Stanisław and mother, Wacława (nee Sygulska).
Kris was born on September 8, 1957 in Wieluń, Poland. He obtained a degree in veterinary medicine, which he practised in Poland. He married Halina in 1984. After moving to Canada in 1989, Kris began working for Campbell’s Canada, where he worked in production, mostly as a cook. Over the years, the couple welcomed two sons into their home. His children remember him as a dependable and loving father who taught them independence and encouraged them to pursue their goals.
Kris loved the outdoors. His hobbies reflected this. He would often be found on the water – fishing, boating, or paddle boarding – on his bike, or in the forest.
Kris was a devoted family man, cherishing every moment spent with his loved ones. His selflessness, guidance, and unconditional love inspired countless memories that will be treasured forever.
His legacy will live on through the lives he touched, the memories we cherish, and the values he instilled in us. We will deeply miss his warm smile, infectious laugh, generous spirit, and unwavering support.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Heart & Stroke foundation.
