Gwendolyn Elaine Ward

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Gwendolyn Elaine Ward, age 79, at Credit Valley Hospital on December 12, 2023. Beloved daughter of Alvin & Flora Cox (deceased), loving sister Allan Cox of Burlington, ON. She will be sadly missed by best friend Wendy St Jean of Barrie ON. and Kenneth Rolson of Brantford, ON. and Sharon Naegele of Mississauga, ON. Elaine worked for many as a hairstylist in the Mississauga area. And they changed careers and worked in the AP department at York University till her retirement.

A memorial service will be held at St John the Baptist Anglican Church (719 Dundas Street East Mississauga at Cawthra), on Thursday June 20th at 11am. Burial of Elaine’s urn to follow at Glendale Cemetery on Albion Road in Etobicoke.
