Edward Earl Forbes
March 28, 1955 – February 28, 2022
Edward Earl Forbes passed away at home on February 28, 2022 after a valiant battle with cancer at 66 years of age . Ed leaves behind his best friend and beloved wife, Theresa Freeman. Also left to grieve are his sisters Elaine Forbes McCallum, and Evelyn (Michael) O’Leary; and his nieces and nephews: Matthew (Christina), Ivan (Sarah), and Thomas McCallum; Ryan (Christine), Liam, Connor and Jennifer O’Leary; Dylan, Brittney, Sarah, Payton, Shayne and Kyle Freeman, his mother and father in law: Joan and Fred Freeman, and his brothers in law: Shawn and Bradwell.
Ed loved fishing, gardening, cooking and especially entertaining. On any weekend Ed’s boat, yard or house as the case may be would be full of friends and family with Ed sharing his views on the latest Jays or Leafs game.
The family would like to thank the palliative care team for their compassionate care and especially nurses Fawzia and Julie from Acclaim Health. And a very special thanks to his friend Ron MacKay who was there for Eddie on every step of his journey.
A Celebration of Life Service is planned for this summer, for those who wish to gather and share in his memory.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
Happy birthday Edward

Theresa and Family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you, always. You know he’s up in heaven, sitting around the kitchen table, with a beer, visiting with everyone who’s up there already. That thought gives me peace. I hope it does you.
