Sage, Glenda

SAGE, Glenda
Oct. 31, 1942 – Jun. 21, 2020
After a journey of longer than a thousand miles, Glenda has peace. And, if enduring the endless debilitating, erosive confines of Alzheimer’s is any testament of strength, Glenda was a powerhouse. She passed peacefully the morning of June 21, 2020 in her 78th year, at Park Lane Terrace, Paris, ON Beloved wife of the late Richard (Dick) Sage (2015). Predeceased by her son Corey (2000) sister Marlene Brook (2020) and her parents Frank and Nova Long. Lovingly remembered by her daughter Tracy Sage (Frank Curley). Doting Grandma to Corey (Sara) and Calvin Sage, Kellan (Maddison) and Kylie Vivian. Great Grandma to Spencer, Alice, and Noah Vivian., Reese and Corey Sage., Garren and Hunter Sage. Greatly missed by brothers Bill and Larry Long, many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Life long and best friend of Frances Jenkinson. Employed many years as a bookkeeper with Beaver Lumber. Glenda had heart bigger than herself which was apparent in all that she did. Her circle of family and friends was her everything. She lived her life with her heart taking the lead and in our final prayers, the only hope is that it had served her well. She has truly been a blessing unlike no other. Profound gratitude extended to Dr.Hanley and all staff during her time at Park Lane. Arrangements have been entrusted to Tranquility Funeral Services. In accordance with Glenda’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family celebration will follow.
Donations may be made in Glenda’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Society or Stedman Hospice.
