PANTCHEVA, Rossitza
Rossitza Nikolova Pantcheva was born on July 30th 1955 in Sofia, Bulgaria.
Rossitza’s early education took place at the Sofia University specializing in Psychology as well as the Institute for Teachers in the town of Smolyan in 1976. Coming to Canada in the early 1990s with her young family, Rossitza fought to make a better life for herself and her family. She went on to study Interior Design at Sheridan College in Mississauga, followed by a 17 year long career as an Interior Designer at Marana Kitchen & Home Design in Toronto, Canada.
Rossitza was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma in March 2015, having spent years under going various cancer treatments, it was unexpectedly on Friday August 2, 2019 that Rossitza’s life completed its course.
Her bravery and rebellious spirit live on in her two children Anna Pantcheva and Nikolay Pantchev.
She was a mother who you couldn’t say “I love you” too, without hearing “I love you more” back.
A Visitation will take place at St. John’s Dixie (737 Dundas St E, Mississauga) Magnolia Room Sat. Aug. 17, 2019 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Service at 3:00 pm followed by light refreshments until 5pm.
Donations in memory of Rossitza can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
Rosi is a beautiful soul, full of light and grace. She conquered cancer and fear of death on this earth not with harsh medications, but with her strong determination and love for life. And she will live forever in the hearts and memories of her family and friends! Flashbacks of moments together – smiling, laughing, having good time, talking about worlds politics, shopping, trips.. She was especially proud of her two kids Anna and Nick. Her smile was contagious, her eyes full of laughter and her words always so encouraging! Rosi was my role model of a strong and courageous human being who doesn’t give in to sadness and depression even on the cusp of death. And she didn’t! Rest in peace my dear friend. I will miss you!
There are people you meet in your life that you will always remember. Rosie was one of those special people. We met discussing kitchen design and will always be grateful for her helping my business to succeed. Our friendship in the early days was based upon mutual respect and love of our work and family. I will truly miss our Facebook friendship and discussion on upcoming holidays or one’s just returning from. We shared a common age and the closeness in our date of birth which she always made appoint of remembering and how I was so much younger… 4 days! Rosie was always family first and Anna and Nikolay could not have asked for a better mother and provider. Linda and I offer our most sincere condolences to the family and know they will be fine because Rosie strength lives on in them. I will miss my friend.
This was heartbreaking news. Rosi was such a wonderful person and will be sorely missed but always remembered.
