Mr. Simon Tam

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Simon Peng Hong Tam, age 77, on August 8, 2025 peacefully in his sleep at home.

Simon was born on January 19, 1948 in China

and lived a life marked by hard work, perseverance and dedication to his wife and 2 children. He is survived by his devoted wife, Rebecca, son, Kevin and daughter Wyn as well as his younger siblings Maria, Antonio, Carol and Paolo.

The family will be holding a private direct cremation service on August 12 at St. John’s Dixie Cemetery & Crematorium at 9 a.m. followed by a Celebration of Life on Sunday, August 17 (details to follow) for those who would like to celebrate his life.

Rest in peace, Simon Tam. You will be missed by all who knew and loved you.
