Woods, Andrew

Andrew Woods
March 9, 1978 – December 29, 2024
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Andrew Woods. Long time
resident of Lions McInnes house, Andrew will be remembered for his friendly handshakes, head bobbles
and infectious giggles. Memories of his love of hamburgers, popping balloons and trains will be fondly
remembered. Andrew enjoyed many actives such as Blue Jay games, Friday the 13 th Port Dover as well
as his card collection. Andrew was the heartbeat of Lions McInnes House and we will miss him blowing
kisses, handshakes and hugs from our extremely special, squishy friend as he did his daily blue box job.
Special thanks to the CCU and Palliative care teams at the Brantford General Hospital for their kindness
and compassion, as well as Dr. Miller and the Brantford Satellite dialysis unit.
Your wings were ready but our hearts were not

Forever will remember the Tarzan chest pumps as u signed my name, or when mad running down the hall doing it. You made everyone’s life happier just by your giggles. Lmh will never be the same with out you.

You never asked for much yet gave so much. It was a pleasure to know you and work with you. You can rest now, the struggle is over. Gone from this world but never forgotten.

My best memories of Lake Joe was spending it with Andrew. We had a blast I know I was working but it was one of the best vacations I ever had. Miss you Andrew.

It’s clear that he brought so much joy and made an impact to those around him with his love for the simple, beautiful things in life—trains, buses, burgers, baseball, balloons and of course Friday the 13! I’ll always remember his adorable laugh, which could brighten anyone’s day. He had a special way of finding happiness in the little things, and that’s something truly rare and beautiful. My heart goes out to everyone during this difficult time.

My little buddy, I remember everything.. our special routine that everyone did a little differently with you, the first time we rode a bus and Laurie said “trust him, he knows the routes” and you took me on the longest bus ride of my life, giggling the entire time. I will miss you terribly my friend.
