Margeson, Barbara Eileen

Barbara Eileen (Jones) Margeson

Barbara Eileen (Jones) Margeson born December 1, 1936 and peacefully passed December 30, 2024.  Barb worked from the age of 16 till her 65th year as a Secretary.

She loved to go to the Casino and play the slots with her bestfriend Nancy Dixon.  She was married to an amazing husband, Karl Chesley Margeson for 49yrs.  She had one daughter, Shari Margeson who she loved unconditionally.  After a terrible fall in November 2023 Barb had to give up her apartment and move in with her daughter for a year as she required 24hr care.  She had one grandson who was her everything Codey-Lee Karl Margeson (only son of Shari).

Barb was the oldest sibling to three predeceased younger brothers.   Barry and surviving wife Carol, Monty and Bobby.  Her parents Oralee and Orale Jones passed many years ago.

Barb danced at JBSD for many years enjoying tap, jazz and even bellydancing.

Barb is and will be extremely missed by her heartbroken daughter and grandson who held her hand as she took her last breathe.

Rest In Peace Mom.   I can’t believe how empty my heart feels without seeing you everyday.  Sleep with the Angels Mom.  Forever will be missed by her two favorite people Codey and Shari.

Celebration of Life to be held at a later date and she will be buried with her husband gone 21yrs ago at Pine Hills Cemetery

My deepest condolences to you and Codey. Barb was a good friend to me whose company I enjoyed tremendously. We met years ago when we both worked together at Ministry of Health and continued our friendship till her passing. I will miss her terribly. Rest in peace my Barbita.

My sincerest condolences to the loss of a longtime friend. Barb always greeted her friends with a huge warm hug. My last memory of Barb is watching her singing along with the music from a Dixieland jazz band my husband was performing in. Although she has left this earth, she is now at peace & no longer struggling, and is hopefully in the arms of her beloved Karl. 🩷
