Winston, Moira Leslie
Moira Leslie Winston, 77, passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her children, at Sunnybrook Hospital, on September 26th, 2024.
After obtaining degrees in English, Latin, and Library Science, she ultimately became the Head Librarian at the Jess Hann Branch of the Oshawa Public Library, where she helped children and adults alike discover the joy of reading.
Married to loving husband Donald in 1978, widowed in 2019, she is survived by her children, Laurel and Gregory, and her cat, Marcus.
The family is holding a funeral service to celebrate Leslie’s life on October 11th, 2024 at 1:30pm at Faith United Church in Courtice. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the ALS Society of Canada.
