Great pic and apropo as well … I will remember the many drinks and the laughter at The Red Lion after a day at the CBC.
RIP Monika 💕
From what i know about you Ray, you are enjoying a cold bevy, a few laughs and some interesting conversation in that great gig in the sky. Until we meet again, shine on Ray. You will be missed by many.
My deepest sympathy, Stan and Psica family. Ray passed way too soon.
Lots of good times with lots of pictures to remember them. The many years in Haliburton, visits to England Scotland Spain and a memorable canoe trip. Sitting around the campfire one night Ray got up went to his tent came back and sat in silence staring at the flames. A minute later the theme from “Deliverance” came gently through the trees. LMAO. A fun guy and a good friend.
Raymond and his brother Stan were dear family friends from years gone by. Learning of his passing came with a great deal of sadness. His was a life taken far too early. May he rest In peace.
Dear Family my deepest condolences .
May he rest in peace.
So many great memories of so many great times – like Jan said “as a CBC Radio family”. Rest in peace Ray.
Ray was a good technician, but more importantly he was a good man.
RIP my old friend.

Quiet, calm, assured, and with a wry sense of humour. He said of me, “I didn’t know drab came in so many colours.” It’s been years, but I can still see his smile/
How I remember Ray.
Rest in peace dear friend; you will be missed.

I am so saddened with this news. Ray was one of the “good ones”. He was calm, unflappable and able to calm the hysteria around him – with “its only radio”! I worked with him for the first decade of my career, and he was brilliant… great sensitivity to the work, great ears… and a great sense of humour when it was needed. I will keep many fond memories of Ray. May he rest in peace.
Ray was a dear, very close friend and we had many wonderful times together. In fact, I took this smiling photo of him when we were travelling in Bequia, the Grenadines. He was a gem, so kind, patient, smart, caring, wonderful listener and communicator, great friend and colleague. Such a great loss. RIP, Ray. 🙁
Remembering the great times we had as a CBC Radio “family”. Condolences to Ray’s family
Fond memories of a dear friend.
