Ivo Axiak

It is with sorrow and solace that we celebrate Ivo Axiak’s passing. Ivo was a devoted and loving husband to his late wife Mary (nee Darmanin) and a caring father to James (Darlene), Joanna (Sami) and Rob (Joanna). He was a proud nannu of five grandchildren: Michael, Megan, Camren, Colton, and Rayane. Ivo passed away peacefully, leaving a legacy of love, generosity, and cherished memories. Born in Gozo (Malta), Ivo was one of nine siblings, some of whom he joins in spirit. Beloved by his nieces and nephews, Ivo was a great uncle. Passionate about Big Band music, he brought an unmatched rhythm to the dance floor enjoyed by all at family weddings. Ivo’s care for family extended beyond borders to Malta. He was a hard-working man who put family before everything. His love and care for those close to him will forever be remembered. Those who knew him were touched by his kindness and generosity. Ivo will be deeply missed but will forever remain in our hearts. May he rest in peace. The Axiak family wishes to thank all the staff, the nurses and the doctors at The Meadows who cared for Ivo with compassion.
