Roszell, Dr. Dan
Dr. Dan Roszell passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Wednesday, July 12, 2017. Dan was one-of-a kind. He was adventurous, thoroughly unique and above all, funny. If you knew him from his dental practice, antique stores or were one of his many friends, you are sure to have shared hysterical moments with Dan. He delighted in shopping for treasures in unlikely places. He loved antiques, clothes and jewelry, but not nearly as much as he loved his new husband of 14 months, John Litwiller, and his daughters Shannon, Lauren, and Lisa. He felt very fortunate to become close to John’s daughters, Sarah and Amy, their partners, Trevor and Frank, as well as grandsons, Spencer and Collin. Dan is no doubt pissed off that his time on this earth has been cut short – he had a lot more living to do. But his gratitude for the love he shared with John and his family runs deep. Donations in his memory to the Alzheimer’s Society, a cause near to Dan’s heart since his mother’s passing, are appreciated. It was Dan’s wish that his ashes be scattered at Rondeau Park but no public service will be held.
