ANDRZEJ KOT

February 25, 1956 – August 20, 2025

Andrzej Kot of Mississauga, Ontario went to his heavenly home on Wednesday August 20, 2025 at the age of 69. He was born in Elbląg, Poland.

Because of his optimism it gave him the courage to seek a better future for himself and his family. Andrzej and his wife with kids decided to immigrate to Spain in 1988, and then to Canada in May 1990.

He fully integrated to this new country, finished a new vocation, found new friends and hobbies, and lived here to his last days. Andrzej’s determination lead him to educate himself and constantly learn new skills. Ranging from cooking to CNC machine operator and then CNC programmer. Andrzej also taught his trade in a technical trade school and was an instructor. Andrzej was very computer literate, and tech-savvy. Andrzej’s greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends, especially over a shared meal. He enjoyed music, traveling, fishing, geography and history. He enjoyed tracking the weather with his own weather station, and was excellent in smoking salmon. His legacy lives on through his children and grandchildren, who have numerous opportunities and successes because of his courage, generosity, and sacrifice. He will be remembered as courageous, smart, hard working, giving, strong, and fun-loving.

Andrzej Kot was a dedicated and loving husband to wife Danuta Kot for 46 years. Father to 2 children Miroslawa (Mikolaj), Marek (Maria). Grandfather to 11 grandchildren Maksymilian, Ania, Oliwia, Alicia, Robert, Elizabeth, Karolina, Veronica, Lucia, Maria, Faustyna.

There will be a Visitation Rosary for Andrzej Kot at the Cemetery St. John’s Dixie Chapel, located at 737 Dundas Street East, Mississauga, on Wednesday August 27, 2025 from 6:00pm-8:30pm.
