Sila Tewari Bharath
Sila (Tewari) Bharath passed away in her home on January 9, 2022 after a long and brave fight with cancer. She was surrounded and supported by her children in her last days.
Sila was born on August 9, 1949 in Trinidad. She married and raised 3 children in Trinidad. She served as a beloved teacher for more than 30 years, leaving her legacy with many people. In 2008, she moved to Canada, where she spent the remainder of her life. She was endlessly devoted to her children and grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Sharma and Anandaie Tewari and her brother, Surrendra Tewari. She is survived by her husband, Winston Bharath, her children, Rishi, Sharada, and Satyaveda (Trinity), and her grandchildren, James, Vera, and Antonia.
A memorial service will be held at St. John’s Dixie Crematorium on Thursday January 13th, 2022 at 10:00am. 737 Dundas St E., Mississauga.
