Kenneth Strachan

KENNETH STRACHAN 1947-2022

Peacefully at home, surrounded by family, Ken (T-Bird) Strachan passed away on Jan 5, 2022 in his 75th year. He will be deeply missed by loving wife Jane, of 51 years, sons Drew (Mary) and George (Sarah) and the light of his life, Granddaughter Sarah. He is survived by his sister Kathryn and many cousins.

Ken enjoyed life with a sense of humour and a caring and helpful outlook, making many friends along the way as a long haul truck driver, travelling all over North America. After retiring, he had many long conversations with his friends, retracing their travels and all the experiences they had. He will be missed.

Special thanks to all the medical support we have received over the past while, especially Suzanne, Giuliana, Delia, and Trish.

A Celebration of Life is to be planned for a future date.

George and family…. Our apologies for this somewhat belated tribute. From myself, Rose, Ryan and Evan, we wish to express our deepest and most heart-felt condolences. Such a loss, while expected or not, is a life changing experience. I am sure your father will be missed. I often recall the discussions we had of your dad and the past trips you took with him. Those trips seem to have left an impression with you, a good one, and you can cherish those memories, and others, for all time. Take care and let us know if we can be of help in anyway during this time of recollection and mourning.
