In Loving Memory of Lara Stojković
October 4, 1998 – December 23, 2024
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved daughter, Lara Stojkovic, on December 23, 2024, at the age of 26. Lara was a gentle soul with a profound love for the natural world. Her passion for plants and animals reflected her nurturing spirit and her deep connection to the beauty of life.
Lara’s days were often spent tending to her garden, caring for her cats, or simply marveling at the wonders of nature. Her kind heart and warm presence brought comfort and joy to all who knew her, and her memory will live on in the blooming flowers and the rustling leaves she so cherished.
In honor of Lara’s compassionate nature, we ask that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Mali Svet Kanada (info@malisvetkanada.org). Supporting children’s education is a cause we believe she would have deeply valued, and we hope this gesture will carry her spirit forward.
A celebration of Lara’s life will take place on Thursday, January 2, 2025, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. (with a service occurring at 2pm) in the Magnolia Room of St. John’s Dixie Chapel, 737 Dundas St. E., Mississauga. Family and friends are welcome to join us in commemorating the life of a remarkable young woman who touched the hearts of so many.
Lara is survived by her loving parents, Boba and Pedja; her brother, Luka, and sister-in-law Tori, extended family and dear friends.
Though her time with us was far too short, the love and kindness she shared will forever remain in our hearts.
Rest peacefully, dearest Lara. You will always be part of the world you loved so much.
