Navarro, Joan Suba

It is with great sadness, we announce the loss of our beloved daughter and sister, Joan Suba Navarro who went home to be with the Lord on June 15, 2024. She was born on January 29, 1988 in Tarlac City, Philippines. She is survived by her parents Alfonso and Adelaida (Suba) Navarro. She is survived by her three sisters and their families; Janet (Aaron) Navarro-
Medidas, Virginia (Doug) Navarro-McIntosh and Vettina (Christian Dale) Navarro-Tongol; as well as her nieces and nephews Franchezka Mae, Natalie, Johann and Vaughnn Zildjian (Bonbon).
Joan’s life began in the small town of Tarlac City. She graduated from Tarlac National high school, and then graduated Central Luzon Doctor’s hospital – Educational Institution as a Registered Nurse. She worked for a couple of years as a Registered Nurse, before moving to Canada in 2014 as a live in caregiver for her niece Natalie. She received her Permanent
Residence card in 2016 and soon went on to work for Coronation Early Learning Child Care; Maple Lodge Farms; Grand River Foods; and Denso manufacturing, gaining a variety of experiences with each company.
Joan’s faith was expressed in her early years while attending the Promise Land Bible Baptist Church in the Philippines and then later while attending university, she attended the Baptist Bible Church in Sta Mesa in Manila. Many of Joan’s interests included her joy to draw (anime), to sew/crochet, playing online games, and watching Korean drama shows.
However, her greatest love was her family and friends. Thirty-Six years was not enough for all of whom will miss her dearly but are comforted to know she now rests in a land full of love.

We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name,
In life we loved you dearly; in death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone.
For part of us went with you, the day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide,
And though we cannot see you, you are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.

We will all gather to celebrate her life at Temple Baptist Church, 400 Holiday Inn Drive, Cambridge, on July 6th , 2024. The church service will begin at 1 pm, with a reception to follow.
