Mariano, Virgilio

Virgilio Mariano, age 80, died peacefully at Trillium Hospital in Mississauga on September 12, 2022. He is survived by his beloved wife, Teresita, of 58 years. He was a devoted father of five to Guerrick, Garry, Joanne, Gilbert, Maria, and a doting grandfather of eight to Erica, JP, Joshua, VJ, Liam, Mia, Danica, and Stella. Virgilio will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.  The family would like to thank the Trillium Health Partners and Sunrise of Mississauga Retirement Home for their care, support, and professional attention they provided. Funeral visitation will take place at St. John’s Dixie Cemetery, 737 Dundas St. E., Mississauga on Thursday, September 15, 2022 from 2:00-3:30 p.m. A Roman Catholic mass will be held on Friday, September 16, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 782. Browns Line, Etobicoke. Interment to follow at Glen Oaks Cemetery, 3164 Ninth Line, Oakville, Ontario.
