DesRoches, Joyce

With a saddened heart, we share that Joyce passed away October 19, 2024 after a brief illness at the Cambridge Hospital at the age of 93.

She was married to Douglas Jollie in 1949 having 4 children – Bryan, Ricky, Debra and Roger til his death in 1961.  Joyce remarried in 1963 to John DesRoches, having 2 more children,  Wayne and Paul.

Predeceased by her parents Thomas and Kathleen King, brothers Thomas, Raymond and Clifford.

Joyce was a very giving person who put her children first above all else and taking care of her parents well into their 90’s.

A great Thank You to the nurses at Cambridge Hospital who looked after and cared for Joyce until her death.
