James Edward Davenport
November 26, 1955- January 28, 2021
Jim passed away peacefully at Sunnyside Nursing Home, Kitchener on January 28, 2021. He is survived by his siblings Maria Roos (Ted), John Davenport (Mary Ellen), Cynthia Davenport-Renna (Tony), Sandra Speckeen (Bill) 10 nieces & nephews, 11 great nieces & nephews. Predeceased by his parents Donald (2008) & Annegien (2019) Davenport, brother Donald Henry Davenport (2014).
Jim’s life was met with challenges due to mental health, a bout with colon cancer, and a brain tumor. Jim always enjoyed visits with his parents and family and buying lottery tickets because he knew he had a winner. Thank you to Sunnyside Nursing Home Three Bridges Staff who worked diligently to make him comfortable and those who built a friendship and bond with him when it seemed challenging at times. No funeral will take place due to covid and cremation has taken place.

I was thinking of Jim today and was sad to find he had passed. I worked at one of the facilities that Jim stayed in and he was quite the character. The one thing that really stands out was his love of hot soup. And the hottest you could get it still wasn’t hot enough. He is missed. RIP Jim.
