HENTZE, Elizabeth

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of my mother, Elizabeth Hentze, on October 5, 2024, at the age of 69.

She was a loving wife to my father for 52 years, a dedicated mother to her two children, and an amazing grandmother to my daughter, Abby. A strong and selfless woman, she always put her family first. Growing up with such an incredible role model, she taught me to be true to myself, to disregard others’ opinions, and to remain brave and determined. While I may never match the greatness you exemplified as a person and mother, I will do my best to be a wonderful mother to my daughter and to look after Dad, just as you would have wanted.

Though you are no longer here in body, I feel your spirit with me. Life will never be the same without you, and the pain in my heart will always be there, but I believe I will reunite with you one day. May you rest in peace, Mom. (Szeretlek) I love you, your daughter Krisztina.

Friends are welcomed to pay their respects to Elizabeth and her family on Saturday October 12th, 2024, from 1-4pm in the Sandalwood Chapel at St. John’s Dixie Cemetery & Crematorium, 737 Dundas Street East in Mississauga at Cawthra.

For those who wish to send flowers, please have the florist deliver to St John’s Dixie (address as above) on Saturday October 12th, by noon at the latest. You are also welcome to bring flowers with you if you like.
