GRAHAM, Claudette Rita (nee St. Amour)
Surrounded by love and the support of her dearest family and friends, Claudette Graham, age 37, peacefully passed on after a stroke and brief illness at the Trillium Health Centre, Mississauga, Ontario, on Saturday morning, April 14th, 2012. Born September 10th, 1974 in Brampton, to loving parents, Claire(nee Dicaire) and Jean-Paul St. Amour, she resided in the Corbeil and North Bay area most of her life and more recently lived in Mississauga. Mother of two precious sons, Jayd and Izaihya. Dear sister of Simone Tessier (Maurice) of North Bay, Denise Malette (Roger) of North Bay, Jean-Paul St. Amour Jr. (Jill) of Corbeil, and Carole St.-Amour (Stephen) of North Bay. Predeceased by brother Rheal St. Amour whom she treasured. Adored by her nephews Jacques, Justin, and Joshua Tessier, niece and best friend Stephanie Lamarche, and nieces, Jessica, and Hilary Bradshaw. Great-Aunt to Ethan, Jasper, Ruby, and Brooke. Fondly remembered by her aunts, Priscille, Louise, Rita (Godmother), Cecile, Rejeanne, Yvonne, and Uncle Marcel. Predeceased by Uncle Emmanuel and dear Aunt Pauline. Will be sadly missed by her friend Matt Foxx. Claudette will be remembered for her energy and love of gymnastics as a staff member at Futures Gymnastics, in Mississauga, and for her beautiful singing voice, but mostly, we will remember her courage and selflessness in her final hours when she became an organ donor. We will all miss her strong-willed personality and determination to be herself no matter what. The family wishes to extend our deepest appreciation to Claudette’s dear friend Joe Shaw for your quick response and life saving efforts last week. Thanks also to the kind and compassionate ICU staff at Trillium Health Center. Friends are welcome to join the family on Friday, April 27 2012, at St. John’s Dixie Cemetery, Crematorium and Visitation Centre, 737 Dundas St. E. Mississauga, (905) 566-9403. Visitation: 6-7 pm Followed by a funeral service: 7 pm . Cremation to take place. Memorial contributions to be made in lieu of flowers at http://www.futuresgymnastics.net/, “Cupcakes for Chloe Fund”.
