BURNS, Hugh- August 14, 2018

It is with great sadness that our family announces the sudden passing of Hugh Burns, born October 12, 1959. Loving son of Chuck and the late Agnes Burns. Dear brother of Mary Gallant (husband Mel), and Charlie. Proud uncle of Heather, Ian and Jessica. Hugh will always be missed and lovingly remembered as a kind, gentle and inquisitive soul. He was a professionally trained chef who loved to cook and entertain. He was also an avid fisherman who enjoyed the outdoors and spent much of his time camping and boating. A few lessons got him hooked on Latin dancing – and he really loved it. As a young adult Hugh earned a black belt in karate and stayed committed to the discipline for many years. Forever in our hearts, may he now rest in peace. A private family service will be held at a later date.
