Bath, Mildred “Millie”
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Mildred “Millie” Mary Bath (Nee) Shafto (aka Nana Bath), announce her passing in her 86th year. Hard worker, tough love, beautiful, frugal, survivor, direct…these are just a few of the qualities that “Millie” possessed. Those who knew her, know that Millie didn’t mince words, didn’t tread lightly and was tough as nails, while showing love and compassion when it was needed. Her “tough love” was how she raised her family and how she taught us all important life lessons. She survived the ups and downs life threw at her, including lung cancer. It seemed like she was invincible…nothing could keep her down, she always got back on the horse. However, after a long battle with dementia Millie departed the world as we know it and is now resting in peace above us in heaven. She was ready for the next chapter and to reunite with those she lost. Millie is survived by her remaining children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mum/Nana, we miss you dearly and you will be forever in our hearts and memories.
My great-grandmother was such a beautiful woman. Her tough love helped shaped us for the reality of the world, and I will forever be debt to her for that. I love and miss you everyday Nana Bath♥️
Im sorry to hear of your Mothers passing. Prayers and positive thoughts for the family.
