It is with deep sadness that we say goodbye to her.
she was truly kind and gentle soul always wearing a smile, she brought joy to the workplace with her cheerful spirit and genuine care for others.
Whenever i needed help, all i had to was ask. No matter what she was doing, she would set it aside without hesitation and make sure i had what i needed. one of the things I’ll always remember is the way she would greet me by calling “honey”. And off course, i cant think of Velma without smiling at the thought of her favorite Boston Cream doughnut, a little reminder of the simple things that brough her joy.
The last words she ever said to me on her last day at work ‘i hope you see me again’. At that time, they seemed like an ordinary goodbye. Today, they hold a meaning i never imagined.
Rest peacefully, dear Velma. Thank you for every smile, every kind word, every helping hand. You will be deeply missed.
My thoughts and heartfelt condolences to her family, and all who loved her.
May she rest in eternal peace.

Rest in peace, Velma. I specially asked my friend to play a beautiful song for you on the saxophone – “Time to Say Goodbye.” It’s better than the Chinese songs you heard in my car.

Sweet Velma-I have no idea where to start…

You were a wonderful person and such a great friend to me always, also so many others. You were the hardest worker and one of the kindest people I have ever had the privilege of knowing. You taught me so much and were there for me in ways I am not even sure you knew!

What I will always remember most about you is how caring you were to all (humans, earth, nature and animals included)-No matter how busy you were or what you had going on, you always checked in on everyone else and made sure they were okay first. You had a way of making those around you feel seen, cared for and loved and that is a gift that not many have.

I am blessed to have met and known you and wish we had gotten more time together. You were an amazing friend made a very huge impact in my life as well as countless others.

Thank you for your kindness, your compassion, and for the light you brought into the lives of everyone around you. It will not be the same without you, and neither will the hearts of the people who knew you. Missing you more than words can describe.

My deepest condolences to your family, friends, those whom you loved/love you and everyone whose lives you touched. You will be deeply missed, and your kindness will never be forgotten.
