It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Virginia Mae “Ginnie” Timpson, who passed away on July 24, 2026, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital.
Ginnie was born Virginia Mae Parlowe on June 14, 1951, in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. She entered the world with challenges and lived her life with strength and determination, facing hardships with courage.
She will be remembered by her family and friends for her resilience and the life she lived despite the obstacles she encountered.
Ginnie’s memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
The family appreciates the care and compassion shown by the staff at Cambridge Memorial Hospital during her final days.
In keeping with Ginnie’s wishes, she will be cremated. Her cremated remains will be placed in a columbarium niche at New Hope Cemetery, 235 Cooper Street, Cambridge, Ontario, where she will be laid to rest in peaceful remembrance.
The family thanks everyone for their thoughts, prayers, and support during this difficult time.
