Timothy Walter Robinson

Timothy Walter Robinson – January 22, 1973 to June 2, 2025

With very heavy hearts, and many tears, we share the unexpected passing of Timothy (Tim) Walter Robinson on June 2, 2025. He has left this life leaving behind his best friend, wife and business partner Josie Robinson (Giovenco) and his children Caleb Robinson and Vianna Robinson.  Tim was born in Cambridge ON on January 22, 1973, to loving parents Norman and Beulah (Brubacher) Robinson and they created a family of 12 children. Tim is the youngest member of the family and left to grieve with tears in their hearts are his siblings Helen, George (Ruth), Mary, Pete (Lynne), Wendy (Fred), Ruth (Jim), Mark (Sue), Diane, Jennifer, Andrew (Robin), Sheryl (Mark), and brother in-law and sister-in law Tony and Vita. He is also cherished and loved by many nieces and nephews.

Tim further leaves behind a cherished group of extended family in life and business from southwestern to mid-north Ontario, USA, Ireland and South Africa.  He is joined in heaven by his parents and his in-laws Nick and Anna Giovenco.

Tim was known as a quiet man of few words, until you got to know him and if you clicked-with-him and he liked you, you could be found having long conversations about many topics.  His brain would soak up much information that afforded him great opportunities and experiences as a real estate investor, developer and contractor.  His love for giving back and working with others to making their dreams a reality is the best treasured quality a man could have; and this is His legacy.  He was modern and yet ole fashion in relationships and life…which is a rare attribute in this day and age.

As per his wishes, Tim will be cremated.  On June 16, 2025, family and friends are invited to a Memorial Service in honour of Tim to give tribute to the man he was. This will be held Monday, June 16, 2025, with Visitation at 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with Memorial Service at 1:00 PM, with Reception & Tribute to follow from 2:00 to 4:00 PM.

The day of events will be held in one building at St John’s Dixie Cemetery & Crematorium 737 Dundas Street East Mississauga ON L4Y 2B4.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Crohns & Colitis Canada is appreciated as Tim dealt with this for years and a charity close to his heart. To donate  Please click here.

Rest in love and peace Babe/Tim, Dad, brother Timmy and Friend – You will always be in our hearts and here in Spirit.

I never had the honour of meeting Timothy. He sounds like a wonderful man, who I know meant a lot to the many people in his life. As a friend of Caleb’s, I wanted to express my condolences to all the family, friends, and colleagues who made up Tim’s universe. May he be remembered fondly for many years to come.

Condolences from the (Mervin) Snyder clan. We were blessed to have Beulah as Step Mom for a few years and got to know the Robinson clan – not as well as we could/should have.

I didn’t know Tim but I have gotten to Caleb in Montreal and it has meant so much to me. I am sure the qualities of warmth, openness and thoughtfulness I see in Caleb are part of Tim’s fantastic legacy. I am so sorry for this loss but it is clear that wonderful qualities of Tim’s are still in the world through his kids. May his memory be a blessing for you all.

Tim, I will always remember you, one of my best friends when we attended IGC years ago. Your fun, loving personality and love for Jesus was always visible on your face. We had many fun adventures at youth retreats and church events. You will always be remembered. You will be missed by many.
