Timms, Gary

Sept.17th, 1938 – Dec. 16th, 2021

“Love you 2day, love you 2morrow; add them together and I will love you 4ever.”

Gary Albert Edward Timms, on Thursday the 16th of December, 2021, at the age of 83 years, passed away at home, peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by his family.

He was loved and will be missed by his wife of 41 years, Gail; his daughter, Mandy; and 3 sons, Joe (wife, Lynn), Dennis and the late Gary Michael (who predeceased him); grandsons, Brodie, Philip, Spencer and Benjamin; great grandson Jaxon; sister, Carol and nieces and nephews.

He loved life, especially while riding his Harley, going for drives every night around 2 am in his car, lounging in the pool while we reminisced about our many adventures together and his beautiful Abyssinian cat, Cleo.  He cherished his family and he was all important to them as well.

In lieu of flowers, if you so choose, as an expression of sympathy, memorial donations can be made to the animal charity of your choice.

Condolences to you, Mandy and all the family with the passing of our honourary Yarn Blitzer who made our fibre art projects so successful! Gary was more than that with his beautiful smile and spirit of adventure and love of Sunday breakfasts and night travels. He was the cat’s meow will be remembered fondly.
Thinking of you. May find memories fill the gap left by his passing.
