It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Theresa (Terri/Mom/Grandma), age 105, on October 24, 2026, peacefully at home.
Terri was born on August 2, 1921 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She lived a long, full life and was happiest when spending time with the people closest to her heart. She loved dancing and singing with her friends and sisters, gardening, art and calligraphy, reading, and giving back to her community. Growing up, she loved picnics at the Toronto Islands and visiting the CNE with her family. As an adult, she earned her high school diploma through correspondence, and fondly remembered time spent working as a school secretary. She missed her husband William (Bill) dearly, and it brings her family comfort to know they are now together again.
She is survived by her sisters Bernie, Joan and Marjorie, her children Veronica (Rocco), William (Juana), John (Nina) and Peter (Pam), her grandchildren Rebecca (Paul), Sarah, Anne, Megan, William, Patrick (Giuliana), predeceased by her husband William, her sisters Mary, Monica and Charlotte, her parents Mona and John, and is loved and missed by many extended family members and friends.
Cremation has taken place, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date, with details to be shared with close family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Community Living Burlington.
