Stockton, Meghan Elizabeth

It is with profound sadness that the family of Meghan Elizabeth Stockton announces her sudden passing at St. Joseph’s hospital, Hamilton on October 31st 2023. Meghan was born in Brantford Ontario, 1994. She was a compassionate, kind and determined person, so her family was not surprised that she pursued a career in Healthcare. She most recently worked as a medical clerk at Cambridge Memorial Hospital. Meghan bravely faced her chronic illness like a warrior. Despite her health challenges, she had an amazing sense of humor. She drew strength from her wide circle of friends, colleagues and family who she loved unconditionally. Meghan was predeceased by her father Mark Stockton. She is survived by her loving mother Lynda Stockton (Lindsay Armstrong), sister Kristin Biefer (Chris Miller), and brother Justin Stockton (Ashleigh Jantzi). She is also survived by her loving grandparents John and Shirley Armour and Brian Stockton, her aunts and uncles including Carol and Frank Panczyk and Jackie and Marny Armour and close cousins Stephanie, Andrew and Lindsay. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins too numerous to name. Meghan was the best aunt to her nieces and nephews (Ava, Johnathan, Jayden, Carl, Ashtin and Felicity). She was also the proud dog mummy to Hudson. The family wishes to thank everyone for their tremendous outpouring of love and support. Special thanks to the caring and devoted staff at St. Joseph’s Healthcare, Hamilton and Brantford General Hospital. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to either of the hospitals that cared for Meghan, or the charity of your choice. Following cremation in Brantford, a Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday November 19th at The Brant Naval Veteran’s Association, 54 Wadsworth St, Brantford from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
