We met Glenda at the Hensel Circle Legion a little over 3yrs ago..
At my first thought was wow this lady is spunky and fierce..
Since then there was no looking back at our friendship …..only forward.
Glenda knew many things about life in general and then some.
There was a lot of laughter, huggs…( but not to hard)
Shiney eyes twinkling with delight when she smiled, almost like she had a wonderful secret to share..but not yet
    Perhaps… Later…
Glenda won my heart with abandon..
    We will miss her greatly

Despite the sickness & pain, Glenda so enjoyed the special time she spent with Michael, Heather & her grandchildren & the many family & friends that visited. She passed on with her heart full of peace & joy (& even some laughter) seeing her family rally around her. What a final gift you gave to her; I hope it brings some comfort to you all. She was one of a kind & I will miss her dearly.

Weep not for me though I have gone
    Into that gentle night
Grieve if you will, but not for long
    Upon my soul’s sweet flight

I am at peace, my soul’s at rest
There is no need for tears
For with your love I was so blessed
    For all those many years

There is no pain, I suffer not
The fear is now all gone
Put now these things out of your thoughts
In your memory I live on

Remember not my fight for breath
    Remember not the strife
Please do not dwell upon my death
    But celebrate my life

    Weep Not For Me

My condolences to you and your family Mike. Although I never met you, I almost feel like I know you as your mother spoke of you often with love and pride. She was a wonderful, giving, fun woman who will be missed by many. She has joined her husband and son. May she rest in peace.
