Rosato, Brenda

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brenda Eileen Rosato. She passed away peacefully at the age of 69 on June 7, 2022 surrounded by loved ones after a long battle with lung cancer. She was an amazing person that touched the hearts of many.

Brenda was born in Toronto, ON, and grew up in Collingwood, ON. She had a successful career in Human Resources & Payroll and retired in the summer of 2019. Brenda was the beloved wife of Rocco and dear mother of Bradley and Amy, sister to Roy, Rick, and Robbie, and daughter to Leon and Isabel.

Being a grandmother to Andre and Zack was one of the most important parts of Brenda’s life, a role that gave her much pride and joy. She was an excellent mother and grandmother, supportive, kind, funny, and witty and we will all miss her dearly.

She enjoyed spending time on Rice Lake with her friends and family, bowling and crafting with her grandchildren. She devoted much of her time and energy to bringing together family and friends for holidays and celebrations.

Brenda is survived by her spouse Rocco; father, Leon Williams; brothers Roy and Rick Williams; her children and their spouses, Amy, Bradley and Adriana; her grandchildren, Andre and Zack; her nieces and nephews; and a large extended family.

The memorial service will be held at St. John’s Dixie Cemetery (737 Dundas Street East, Mississauga, ON L4Y 2B5) on June 18, 2022 at 2:00 p.m., with reception to follow. Those who wish to donate are asking to consider a donation in Brenda’s name in support of Bethell Hospice.

We will miss our dear friend Brenda so much. She had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to laugh. Our trailer park will never be the same without you. May your spirit flow over the water and through the trees so that we may hear your laughter in the wind.

My sincere condolences to the family on your loss. Brenda and I worked closely for over 10 years and she had a very special energy and spirit about her. She took a lot of pride in doing her job well, but family and friends were always the most important thing to her. She was a real pleasure to be around and it makes me smile to think of her. God Bless.
