Robbins, David Maxwell

July 1, 1945 – March 16,2020
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of David Robbins
at Joseph Brant Hospital, Burlington on Monday, March 16, 2020 in his
75 th year. Predeceased by his wife, Judith, in 2010.
David will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his fiancé, Gail
Johnson, his brothers Henry, Richard and Robert, and niece Janis Singler
&  her 4 children, Connor, Dalton, Jadyn & Alexis. Dear long-time friend
of Estelle & Paul Lemay, and Helen Shanahan (his “sister”) & Walt
Rieckermann, as well as many friends at Cedarview Retirement Living in
Woodstock and Queensview Retirement Community in Paris. He was a
retired employee of GM Cami Assembly in Ingersoll.
Despite enduring health issues for many years, David remained good
natured and will be remembered for his kindness, generosity and
friendliness. He was happiest near the water or in a boat on the water,
especially at Port Dover where Gail and he spent many treasured
moments watching the sunset over the lake.
At David`s request, cremation has taken place and a private Celebration
of Life will take place at a later date.
